Unalike to Frozen Nako and Malling

A wonderful Dhaba Meet in Delhi on 8th February, 2015 and a little discussion with fellow BCMTians Master ji @narender, Imran @born2lead and all was enough to inspire me for a quick ride to the Spiti Gateway.

As usual I had only 5 days in hand and another sixth day in case I get struck for any reason. And the compulsion to reach back home on the sixth day. I knew it would be a touch and go trip, but to add on a few more days, I knew, it would be possible only next year as February second half and March were full of snow. So I decided to go on a flying 5 day ride to Winter Spiti.

Ice – yes, I got lots of it – White usually, but lots of brown and black also on the roads. Started from Kufri and Fagu and all the way up…….A Photolog....

I am dying to go there as i have heard there is unexpected heavy snowfall in Spiti this year.
Sanjay ji,you were lucky to find a snowed out Spiti during your ride.
It was a good decision.

Masterji, snow expected entire March this year. I went to Narkanda on Holi and found Holy Snow everywhere...

This year Spiti will open a little late. Next year we will go together....
