Travel in sleeper Volvo to Belagavi and Secunderabad

Considering the sizable population from North Karnataka and Hyderabad region travelling to and fro Mysuru for business, family and other reasons, the KSRTC Rural Division, for the first time, has launched four Sleeper Volvo buses to Belagavi and Secunderabad.

The luxurious buses under ‘Ambari Dream Class’ were flagged off by Mysuru District Minister V. Somanna last evening at Sub-Urban Bus Stand. The buses will cover Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport and Hyderabad.

The buses will leave Mysuru through the roads laid by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) and reach Hebbal in Bengaluru and Yelahanka to reach the Bengaluru Airport. From there, the buses will leave to Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Direct passengers to Hyderabad will save one hour by taking the bus, said officials.

The buses will start from Mysuru at 7.15 pm and the corresponding bus will leave Secunderabad at 6.30 pm daily. For the passengers travelling to Belagavi too, the ‘Ambari Dream Class’ buses have been introduced. The Belagavi bus will leave Mysuru at 7.30 pm daily and the corresponding bus will leave Belagavi at 9 pm. The bus will leave Mysuru to reach K.R. Pet, Channarayapatna, Arasikere, Shivamogga and Hubballi to reach Belagavi. The fare from Mysuru to Belagavi is Rs. 800 per person and to Secunderabad, it is Rs. 1,800 per seat. Forty passengers can sit in AC sleeper while in Non-AC Sleeper, 30 passengers can travel.

MLAs G.T. Devegowda, L. Nagendra, MP Pratap Simha, KSRTC Rural Divisional Controller Ashok Kumar and others were present.

Title of Stars of Mysore is misleading:
Travel in sleeper Volvo to Belagavi and Secunderabad
in reality it is Volvo Sleeper between Mysuru - Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Non AC Sleeper between Mysuru - Belgavi. [Already Belgavi 1 depot is operating: AC and NON-AC Sleeper] on this route.
Hahaha.. Thanks for enlightening us. I was really wondering how on earth my hometown Belgaum got an Ambaari dream class service so soon !!! I don't foresee a Belgaum--Hubli--Bangalore or Hubli--Belgaum--Mumbai Ambaari dream class service for the next 1 year, let alone Mysore or any other place

Thanks @deepam, I too was searching in the KSRTC website for Mysuru - Belagavi volvo sleeper and couldn't find the same. I was thinking they would update the same after few days.

Hello Guys, Need another help for my Shirdi trip. This time I wanted to spend more time at Shirdi. I'm planning to go in KSRTC Ambari from Bangalore for return SRS Nashik-Bangalore Scania.
Few Questions are
1. How reliable is SRS in this route? redbus ratings is very bad for SRS in almost all the Services.
2. I'm doubtful about VRL Volvo Sleeper. The lower berth seems to have zero window visibility, Does the upperberth is sufficient enough to sit? Or my head will hit the ceiling?
3. This time I'm going with Darshan ticket, approx how long will it take for the booked queue to complete Darshan. So that I may repeat the 2200 MumBng Ksrtc
4. I'm also interested in trying National B11r. The last service from Pune is at 11.55 pm from Katrej. How far is Katrej from Shivajinagar? Are there any town buses at that time or should I get a Auto/Uber? Also how reliable is National in this route?
