Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG variant of the newly launched Wagon R.
Wagon R S-CNG would only be available in LXI and LXI O variants and will be priced at Rs. 4.84 lakh and Rs. 4.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
Maruti is claiming a best-in class mileage of 33.55 km/kg and the car will feature auto switchover from CNG to patrol, in case the CNG is running low.
Wagon R S-CNG comes reinforced with anti-corrosion stainless steel components provides better safety in the longer run.
Speaking to the media, Mr. R.S. Kalsi, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “At Maruti Suzuki, we continuously strive to offer products that are technologically advanced and environment friendly. With Wagon R S-CNG customers will be able to enjoy the benefit of 26% better fuel economy than the outgoing Wagon R CNG and superior technology which is safe, reliable and environment friendly.”
