Super hai boss !!!!
thanks Rahulgood one bro
i travel without any expectations and fixations..rest i feel i get lucky on the road, that's why i prefer to stay on the road as long as possibleWhat a fun log it was. What I really love about your style of travelling is that you explore every nook and corner. You must be really good at talking with people, because you hear visit things which only locals would know. And the best part is you don't seem to have likes and dislikes which means that you explore every single thing with child like glee and open mind.
No wonder your logs are so unique.
thanks Sahil the Great GuySuper hai boss !!!!
I remember going there in 1988 or 89! Dadahu was indeed around 2-3 kms, There used to be a few shops at Dadahu where we chatted up with a vet who was going to treat an injured lion and got a lift in the same metador! Got to see the lion getting first aid up close as a bonus.Beautiful travelogue, Alok! I'm truly enjoying it.
There was a time when the 'zoo' at Renukaji used to be a lion breeding centre, and there used to be a 'safari' drive in a government Matador inside the large lion enclosure. That was quite a thrill, believe me! Then, one day, the Matador broke. Yes, it actually broke into two halves! That was the end of the safari days!
About the most beautiful thing in Renukaji was the HPTDC Hotel Renuka.
And Dadahu used to be barely 3½ kms away, not 7 or 8 as you say!
We used to go there for a non veg meal every so often, since Renukaji is a strictly veggie place.
And there are areas where you can drive down to the river/stream and wash your car or just splash about in the shallow stream.
i concede..Dadahu is 2-3 kms from the lakeI remember going there in 1988 or 89! We walked down from renuka to dadahu so it was definitely not 7 kms.
Though it's been 25 years, this TL reminded me of my own visit to the beautiful and quiet Renukaji lake.
