Want to Buy my First car... help me to get solved.

My dear friends

I am car & bike maniac, car & bike lover, traveler. I own RE classic 350 which is my first bike and i enjoyed that bull very much. Now, become a responsible person in family i want to buy a new car(suv) which full-fill my basic needs like ( rear seat space with nice legroom, infotainment system, ground clearance, nice ride-ability, & most imp -- better suspensions for less feel of spot wholes ). I desperately research on SUV everyday but unable to make one decision about those. Material quality is average then its ok for me.

I want in SUV -
- 5 seater (7 seater would be a advantage for me)
- petrol engine
- i hate under power engines.
- nice ride quality with good suspension setup for sudden blind spot wholes.
- infotainment system
- AC (manual / auto)
- Only manual transmission
- daily commutable in City to City traffic.
- ABS/EBD/Traction Control - 2 airbags
- Thick Tyre for better road grip ( I don't want me to think while turning on sharp turn like ghat section).
- apple & android auto car play.
- build quality (safety first)
- good headlight visibility at night.

and please suggest if i am missing some point which are usable.

Since you haven’t mentioned the budget I would recommend:

Jeep Compass Limited Plus Diesel. (I know you mentioned petrol, but if you want a good vehicle with good power, Diesel it is. There is a reason Diesel is the fuel of choice for all large vehicles like trucks, buses, bulldozers etc).
It has power, speed, thick tyres, 4x4, everything you need. And yes, AC too. And very refined build quality.

Kia Seltos GTX.
Again, has everything you ask for but not as much power as Jeep Compass.

Or wait for Skoda Karoq.

Budget please?

Thank you for your quick reply ... my budget is around 10-12 lak because i m looking compact suv for 5 seat. There are lot more option in between of my choice. You can suggest me higher budget options too around 15L. Thank you for your help buddy. And hope little bit help from you again.

And sorry for not mentioning budget. My actual budget is around 10 -12 L and max to max 15L not beyond that. What you suggested are very good suv's in today's days. Actually Jeep is make sense to buy if someone have that much budget. Thank you.

Well, entry level Jeep Compass is 19.5 lakhs on road.

Go for the Kia Seltos. They have many many options. Try Carwale.com to check on road price in your area. It’s definitely in your budget.

Check what happens with the Indian government first. If they are planning on 100% electric vehicles by 2030 then your car will have a zero resale value in about 5 years. In that case, you are probably better of renting an SUV when the need arises.

2. Hyundai Creta
3. Hyundai Venue
4. Maruti Brezza
5. Duster
6. XUV 300
7. TUV
8. Mahindra Thar

Off all these SUV's and by your requirement, i think you need modern SUV and right now I believe Kia Seltos fits the bill. The petrol Engine is 1.5 L with lots and lots of features.
