I remember in my D5100 there was option when I used to get 3 shots by pressing shutter button once.

And what I knew that if we are shooting moving object then Keep focus AF C and if still then AF S.

How many shots will I get by selecting CH? I have been using D7000.
Vikas,
No. of shots depends on the camera buffer and the speed of SD card.. Unfortunately, D7000 has low buffer.
Maybe you can still get 3-4 RAW shots and maybe 15-20 JPG. Look for this info in your manuals or web. I don't own this camera, though I had borrowed it from my brother to shoot video quite some time back.
Its a nice camera.

Hi,
Your question is like, I don't know driving but want to buy a car. Which should I buy? Merc, BMW, Ferrari?
My advice to you is don't waste your money on DSLR's if you are not serious about photography. There are fixed lens cameras that rival DSLR's.

Well, I would suggest you to purchase a proper digital camera at the very first place. Make and model may be chosen based on your budget, usage comfort and other preferences.

Once you have learnt the basics of photography, functions of a camera, and other preliminaries in detail, you may start experimenting with various settings and available options, to create desired results. If at all ever one starts experiencing / hit the limitations of the present camera, it would be the apt time to upgrade to a DSLR; as you are now clear about your photographic requirements and the expectations from the new camera. A brief research on products available would clear all clouds as to what make and model would suit your requirements the best.

Please appreciate that a DSLR is a serious photographic equipment, and one has to pass through a steep curve of learning to master its controls. It is really sad that people often misread a DSLR as another fancy gadget (but an expensive one to show off as a pricey possession), assuming that it would yield astonishing results from day 1. Novices often shoot in “Auto” mode and may find the results outright disappointing as a DSLR does not add any fancy touch / punch/ vibrance during processing, which otherwise is always done by a P&S camera.

Want to buy ND filter for my upcoming trip.
out of 5 4 lenses are 52mm and one is 67mm thus want to buy a ND filter to click landscapes in harsh sunlight.

Which one should I buy, checked online that there are ND2, ND4, ND8 type filters available and I am confused regarding which one should I buy.

Kindly suggest or if possible kindly post a link to buy.

Hello Vikas, use of ND filters are varied . Usually two types of uses are common . First is , as you have mentioned, Landscape in harsh sunlight , for that a 3 stop light cutter will be sufficient. The second use is to do slow shutter photography for catching milky waterfalls or the movement of cloud etc. , for that about 9 stop light cutter or darker is needed , Hoya NDX400 is one such filter which is easily available in India , but be cautious , fakes are rampant so buy from dealers or Anish George.
If you have lens upgrade in mind , get 77 mm filters with good quality step up ring , that should serve you for all the lenses for long long time.
