Had been to Nikon, Gurgaon to have a look at the new D500. Amazing camera. Those who can afford a lac of Rupees for a new camera should certainly try it. It is a DX camera with a crop factor of 1.5X, very good for wildlife and bird photography. It has amazingly fast Autofocus, great Light Metering and 10 frames per second. High ISO performance is also outstanding. It shares the processor with the Flagship D5!

I am too looking for updating my camera in near future.

I have Nikon D5100 with kit lens and 35mm, 50mm primes presently.

My main interest is street photography, portrait and landscape. I am not into Wildlife/Sports photography, though a good medium range fast zoom lens for street portrait is in my wishlist for future.

Please suggest a body + lens kit within 1.5L range which serves me for a long time. Which would be better between D750 and D500. (One difference which I can see in favour of D500 have touch screen which I think would be quite handy for Focus point selection.)

Thanks for your suggestions.

My main confusion is due to following reasons.

1. For D500, I will need to buy a flash and will need to always carry it for indoor low light photography
2. D750 does not have touch screen which I would prefer to have since its very convenient for Focus point selection.
