Chalo .......let's go.
Both 1200 d and 1300 d are capable of producing stunning landscape . You need to buy a good wide angle lens like Tokina 11-16 mm f2.8 . And a good sturdy tripod. Composition and depth of field is more important in this aspect.

True.
Well for me, this may be long term but before i go on looking for a higher body. That's why wanted to know from actual users about its performance.
I have used D5300 for a short while but only during day in good light. Therefore cannot vouch for the high ISO picture quality. But according to the online reviews D5300 has leading picture quality in high ISO as well as good dynamic range. The auto focus is good and best in that range.
There are many online reviews, try dpreview.
You are correct regarding not much difference with D5500. D5300 is a good option for the price.

Thank you Henry sir for the positive reply.
I read the DP review last night and many others. Most of them were happy with its performance overall.
Also, I went to a mall here physically checked the camera and it felt much better in hand ergonomically than my present D3200. Couldn't click any as they had removed the batteries

Clicking couple of pictures inside a shop wouldn't give you much. Don't worry, if you liked the handling you'll like all other things of that camera.
