Yes.. one in the link you shared is 7th gen. I think it is the latest one.
When I was looking for a laptop 2 years back, i went to many shops with my list of requirements and asked for rates/models of the laptops (from HP and Dell) and then checked their details, performance reviws at home before deciding the best in my budget. You should also do this.

Although this is a laptop specific thread and I have subscribed to it for a while now, but still I wanted to share an update not related to the thread exactly.
After waiting for a long long time(read: years), I finally took the plunge and ordered a beast of a machine for myself.
Not a laptop but a powerhouse desktop
Yes a desktop, as mobility and small form factor wasn't much of a concern to me for the powerhouse I was looking to get. Took full advantage of boxing week deal here in Canada and ordered the below desktop.

GeForceLaptop has limitation of screen size etc.
Those who can get a desktop,

I seriously considered getting this laptop and a monitor along with it for extended display.

Got the below mentioned one recently. But their redemption center is one big hellhole.
Some other buyer of another HP laptop typed a wrong serial **********1 instead of **********L for redemption.
And because of the mismatch my extended warranty and a 1tb HD has been held back for no mistake of mine.
Even a month after followups by me, the dealer and also their local office in bhubaneshwar they are yet to get back.

Try escalating to HP India through social media if not done already. Could work.
