I too am preparing for PG entrance this time. ( job done for 2 months along with classes and now I am quitting the job in the coming week and next 3 months only studies, nothing else. I will take a break from bcmtouring too

Yes, the financial issues are true. You feel really bad when your Engineering friends of the same age are earning 3-4 lacs per year with Sat-Sun holiday, metro city life and what not. Thats a different story, I chose Medicine out of my own sheer interest, so hoping to do well in future. The best part of my life was Internship. As I studied MBBS at a Govt. college, had to do internship at an attached govt hospital. The exposure, learning opportunities and laborious work was wonderful although very hectic. At the same time, we got a stipend of 15000 per month and in a small city like Belgaum, this is too much especially for people like me who stayed at home. After Internship, no money, nothing. Thanks to parents ( read God). Good thing is that metro cities pay well for MBBS doctors than our small city like Belgaum.
