A video on social media emerged showing a lion roaming on the road lit by the headlights of a car. This has sent forest department officials on a wild goose chase prompting intense search operations for the wild cat in Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh. The video showed the lion moving on a dirt road and claimed that the wild cat was spotted on Raipuria Road in Kanad area of the district. The information about the video and possibilities of the lion being in the locality was given to the senior forest officials in Ujjain by a brick kiln operator, prompting a flurry of activities.

A class 10 student in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow has developed a thermoelectric stove generator which can cook food and charge a mobile phone at the same time. Pranjal Shrivastav has invented the stove, which cost him just Rs 400 to assemble. The thermoelectric stove generator has a USB port attached from which a single mobile phone can be charged while simultaneously cooking food. Pranjal wants his invention to be a part of rural households where it can be used as an alternative source of energy as it costs just 400 rupees.
