India’s Latest Guidelines on International Travel

This timeline summarizes the most recent developments in the rules and regulations governing international travel to and from India.

February 2023
From February 13, 11 AM, passengers coming to India from or via China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand will not require a negative RT-PCR report from a pre-departure test for COVID-19. Travelers from these five countries will no longer have to fill the self-health declaration form on the Air Suvidha portal either.
The 2% random testing on arrival in India [from any country of origin] policy that was started December 24 last year, shall continue.
January 2023
Reported by Times of India, all Indians traveling to Sri Lanka will have to follow the country’s revised COVID-19 protocols. Sri Lanka has announced that all tourists to the country will be required to carry their vaccination cards, and unvaccinated travelers must carry a negative PCR report obtained 72 hours prior to their arrival.

A beautiful day after rain, mountains look more beautiful after rain. We could not miss this weather, so we went to visit an ultimate view point up in the hills towards Narender Nagar, Kids enjoyed alot. After a long time we went to Kunjapuri Temple also. Kunjapuri is the temple of Goddess Durga , It is one of the 13th Shakti Peeth in Shivalik range and one of the three Shakti Peeth in Tehri district established by Jagatguru Shankaracharya. Other two Shakti Peethas in the district are Surkanda Devi and Chandrabadni. Kunjapuri, along with these two peethas form a holy triangle. Shakti Peeth are the places where body parts of Goddess Sati (incarnation of Goddess Parvati before she took birth as Parvati) fell down while Lord Shiva was carrying her dead body in his arms and roaming unconsciously through the Himalayan ranges of Bharatbarsh after Sati had flung herself in the yajna fires when some derogatory remarks were made about her husband by her father Daksha.
