Why do I see asterisk when I type a website/company name?

If you are posting a link to a website or referring to a company/travel agency and see **** instead of the name you were posting, then it means that it has been blacklisted on BCMTouring for repeatedly trying to spam our forums.

While blacklisting websites/companies isn't something we like to do, but at times we are left with little other choice, in an attempt to ensure neutrality of BCMTouring and ensure that the information you read here is genuine and from end users, rather than from a marketeer posing as a customer, in order to coercively influence your views regarding their product/services.

I am in a similar dilemma, I see the skull, bone mark in red in my G-Mail and at sometimes in other web-sites too, why?

There is no publicly viewable list, even the moderation team does not have access to it, though when a major website/company is blacklisted, it is either after consultation with them or they are informed in the mod lounge.
