Winter Ladakh

I've booked my tickets for 22nd to 27th Jan 2017 for a Ladakhi winter. Would appreciate if someone can help me give some detailed info about visiting Hanle from Pangong. Will I require any permits while going through Chushul and any other difficulties. Have already in talks with Rigzin and he assured me of a homestay but couldn't get much info due to line disturbances. Pl help.

Is there any foreigner or NRI traveling with you?

No. We are all Indian Citizens with valid passports and Aadhar cards etc.

Then you will require Inner Line Permit from the DC Office for Chushul and Hanle, Inner Line Permit.

Will get back soon. Have been a member since 2010 but never actually posted anything. But, from time to time all the BCMTians have kept inspiring me with their posts and travelogues. Hats off for such a group. The best part here is every one is very helpful and the information they provide are very accurate.
