Wow! The link doesn't seem to work.
In any case, I do occasionally go on trips where I have to spend several days without power supply. Like in Eagles Nest, Arunachal or in Coffee House, Mishmi Hills! Car inverter is the best solution for me. However, I would like to have one of the type you mentioned.

I am quite impressed by the Spec of the RAV Power gadget. But 12+K is too much of a price to pay for that kind of additional support. I'd rather plug in and charge. I was told of a folding solar charger which can charge an energy bank, but then the cost of the bank like RAV Power and the solar charger would be prohibitive. Having recently invested in D500 and the few XQD cards and reader, The family is not going to take kindly to further 'wasteful' expenditure! (My impending arrears on account of the Pay Commission already stands confiscated for baby's PPF!)

With the purchase of my Nikon D500, I have another camera using XQD Card. Once you are used to that kind of speed, other cards are difficult to get used to. That having said, speed of CF and SD cards are also catching up.
