I'm also wondering how you could lost data this time? I remember you spent couple of thousands last year to recover data from your drive(s)...

Yes, it is crazy, I am almost going mad.
I am just hoping when I reach Delhi, and give the HDD to my friend,
who works on Lenux, the drive becomes visible and he can download the data.
it will be a miracle.

Chance of getting back deleted data in your memory cards is also there with recovery software.

You can give a try on this option also. 2 or 3 times deleted data can be recovered.
Some paid software can get something if possible.
Ask your Linux friend about this.
